Bhanwarlal Chowdhury, MD

Bhanwarlal Chowdhury, MD, is a board-certified internal medicine and primary care physician at AZZ Medical Associates, a practice serving the communities of Old Bridge, Brick Township, Hamilton Township, and Ewing, New Jersey. Dr. Chowdhury works out of the Ewing office. 

Dr. Chowdhury attended Sawai Man Singh Hospital (SMS), a university hospital in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. While there, he earned his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Science, and Doctor of Medicine. He also completed a rotating internship and internal medicine residency at SMS.

Dr. Chowdhury furthered his education, completing a geriatric medicine residency at East Riding General Hospital, which used to be a facility in Bridlington Road, Driffield, East Riding of Yorkshire, England. He also completed an internal medicine residency at Capital Health – East Trenton, formerly St. Francis Medical Center, in Trenton, New Jersey. 

Dr. Chowdhury has experience with various specialties, including internal medicine, gastroenterology, and geriatrics. He also served as a medical officer for the Indian Army and worked as a specialist for the Indian Army Medical Corps.
