Irfan U. Huq, MD

Irfan U. Huq, MD, is a board-certified internal medicine and primary care physician at AZZ Medical Associates, a practice serving the communities of Old Bridge, Brick Township, Hamilton Township, and Ewing, New Jersey. Dr. Huq works out of the Hamilton Township office. 

Dr. Huq received his Bachelor of Science from Quaid-i-Azam University in Islamabad, Pakistan. He furthered his education by obtaining his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from Dhaka Medical College Hospital in Dhaka, Bangladesh. 

Dr. Huq completed an internship at St. Agnes Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He finished an internal medicine residency at the New Jersey College of Medicine and Dentistry in Newark, New Jersey. Dr. Huq also completed his residency in gastroenterology at the same university.

Dr. Huq has worked in various settings, holding many different positions. Most recently, he was a gastroenterology hospitalist, providing effective inpatient care.
