Javier G. Taboda, MD

Javier G. Taboda, MD, is an outstanding physician who holds double board certification in both neurology and psychiatry. He is also a proud team member at AZZ Medical Associates, with locations in Old Bridge, Brick Township, Hamilton Township, and Ewing, New Jersey.

Dr. Taboda has always held higher education in the highest regard. He began his studies at the National University of Trujillo in Peru, focusing on pre-med. He remained to earn his medical degree from the University’s School of Medicine. 

He completed his residency training in neurology at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., and at the University of Louisville in Kentucky. Dr. Taboda also completed residency training in psychology at McGill University Montreal General Hospital in Canada and Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. 

Dr. Taboda also served in the United States Army as chief of neurology at locations in South Korea and South Carolina before serving in the U.S. Army Reserve Medical Corps. His professional experience includes several leadership and academic roles.
