Spring R. Matthews, MD

Spring R. Matthews, MD, is a primary care physician at AZZ Medical Associates with primary care offices in Old Bridge, Brick Township, Hamilton Township, and Ewing, New Jersey.

Dr. Matthews earned her bachelor’s degree at Hunter College in New York, New York. She then completed a dentistry degree at the University of Medicine and Dentistry in Newark, New Jersey, followed by an internship in internal medicine at University Hospital, also in Newark. Dr. Matthews completed an internal medicine residency at the Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in New Jersey.

Prior to joining the team at AZZ Medical Associates, Dr. Matthews gained extensive experience as a school physician at a college, performing athletic physicals, and outpatient primary care in private practice. Dr. Matthews also managed inpatient hospital care for patients of the private practice, worked in an internal medicine group practice, and served as a medical review board physician. 

Dr. Matthews looks forward to treating new and existing patients at AZZ Medical Associates.
